Formadrain SA ("Formadrain", "we", "our", or "us") operates the Formadrain mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with your use of the App. We are committed to transparency and to protecting your privacy. Please read this document carefully. To perform pipe-lining resin calculations, the App may ask you to provide technical parameters such as liner diameter, thickness, length, and select both resin type and unit preferences. At present, these values are processed locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers. In the future, we may collect these inputs linked to a user account, and a device push-notification token to notify you of new reference projects.

Where we process personal data, we do so on the basis of contractual necessity, legitimate interests, consent (for push notifications), or legal obligation under the Swiss nFADP and, where applicable, the EU GDPR.

Currently, the App does not transmit any data off your device. When future data collection is activated, we may use it to improve the calculation service, send push notifications about newly published reference projects, and comply with our legal obligations. We will not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with service providers who help us operate the App, when required by law, or in the context of a business transfer. All third parties are required to respect applicable data protection law.

If personal data is transferred outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area, we will ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions).

We retain personal data only as long as necessary. Calculation inputs stored locally on your device are not subject to our retention schedule; you may clear them at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing its local storage.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and objection. You may also withdraw consent for push notifications at any time through your device settings. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@formadrain.swiss. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the FDPIC.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

The App is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

When the notification feature is activated, you will be asked to grant permission for push notifications, used solely to inform you of newly published reference projects. You may withdraw permission at any time through your device settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other appropriate means and update the Effective Date.
